Tuesday - Still in St Augustine

22 November 2011
We got back on the trolley’s Beach Bus and took it over to the Lighthouse on Anastasia Island, which is a barrier island between St. Augustine and the ocean. The above picture is the view of St. Augustine from the Lighthouse. The tall building is the Flagler Hotel Building which is now part of Flagler College. We then went out to dinner in a riverfront restaurant that had a nice outdoor, tree shaded and stone walled courtyard. Everything was wonderful until our main course arrived just as it started to rain. Fortunately we were able to pick up our plates and follow the waiter to a table inside. The Captain.
St. Augustine is such a cute city! There are miniature Christmas lights everywhere, even on the trolley and I have never seen a cleaner place. Not one bit of trash anywhere. It was a very pleasant place to stay for a few days. The Admiral
