Anchored in Hobe Sound
28 February 2012 | Jupiter, Florida
After relaxing in Lantana waiting for the wind to get back to normal, we got underway early this morning. Winds were very calm making for an easier exit from the slip. We were docked bow in to the slip. However, the tides were very low so I chose to back part way down the fairway towards the ICW because I was afraid to back out and point the stern towards land. I then backed partway into an empty slip and then out bow first towards the ICW. We motored north on the ICW today through all of West Palm Beach, Palm Beach and North Palm Beach past beautiful houses, docks, boats, yachts and pleasure ships. We proceeded north past Jupiter Inlet and up into Hobe Sound where we dropped anchor for the night. The temperature is 81 now (2pm), mostly cloudy and a nice pleasant 7 mph breeze. We have reservations the next two nights in Harbortown Marina in Fort Pierce. The Captain
