North winds hit us late yesterday afternoon and still persist thru now, 1o'clock this afternoon. Seas are mixed and the ride is rotten! winds were around low to mid 20's then the anometer quit on us. Lots of rain all night and now staring to clear and just saw a small line of northeast wind ripples on the surface. Maybe the winds will change and we can go back on course. Even though we are heading west by northwest, progress is being made, 975 miles to go. Just a short note to let you all know what's happening and we are fine, cooking is a pain, but I made bluebeery pancakes, topped with peanut butter a bit ago, so we are eating. May break into the Mountain House spegit, if conditions stay the same as they are now. Whew! That took a long time to type, keep sliding out of the seat. That's it! cya later
