Leaving Burmuda Today

Saturday May 9, 2015: Some Clouds, Bermuda
We arrived in Bermuda in the morning and had a wonderful day. All of the buildings are painted a solid color with white cement roofs. They have a lot of bad weather here so the buildings are strong. Debbie said when a hurricane hits the boats are destroyed and the buildings are fine. We had a nice lunch and then I went on a jog through the city. It is very clean and charming and the locals are extraordinarily friendly. We rode on the cleanest city bus I have ever seen, I was shocked. As I was jogging I came across a wooden tall ship. It happened to be a floating class room for college age kids and they were giving tours. 31 aboard and it looked like it was 100 years old. It was actually built in 1984 as a classroom and made to look old. That being said I would never allow my kids to sail her, she looked as though she would sink any minute. I did enjoy the tour though. The kid’s bunks looked more like shelves.
