We begrudgingly left Stratford at 0930, what a nice place. Our destination was Dover, not the one in NC Dick & Judy!

Since there was rail maintenance we were routed through London. First the train to London Marylebone, then the underground! We took the Bakeroo Line (we knick-named "Buckeroo"...;) to Oxford Circus, then off on the Victoria Line to London St. Pancreas. From there we picked up a High Speed Train to Ashford International. Wow, there is nothing like traveling at 125 mph, its a rocket car!

The maintenance on the track was between Ashford & Dover so we were transferred to a double decker bus for the final 30 minutes of the trip.

After all that we were happy for the 20 minute walk to arrive at Karen's home at 1500. It's directly under the the Chalky White Cliffs.
