This morning at 1011 we dropped our CQR into the soft mud of N. Lake Worth. We will stay here the rest of today as the expected 30 knots of wind blow past.

We have spent the past couple days at the Rybovitch boat yard. We believe that while at Staniel Cay we picked up some bad fuel. Five miles from the Lake Worth Entrance buoys the engine died for the third time on the 185 mile trip from Nassau. The first two times we cleaned and replaced the fuel filters but after the third shutdown we called for a tow.

That was Thursday. We were towed to the yard by Tow Boat where, on Friday morning, we were told we could not get our fuel tank cleaned until Monday.

Over the course if the weekend we explored the area called Rivera Beach, near the marina. We also changed fuel filters again so we would have a clean start after the fuel was polished.

The six or so gallons of fuel that was left in the tank was drained and high pressure diesel was sprayed throughout the tank and also removed. We purged the hoses then added 20 gallons of clean fuel. After a 30 minute test run we declared it fixed.

Wanting to leave the yard as quickly as possible we payed the yard and cast off lines at 0815. We plan to leave here after the strong north winds end and travel towards Vero Beach.
