We are still at Cherry Point getting clobbered with our third day of heavy rain & winds that often gust to 30 knots. Glad we stayed put!

Our original plan was to leave last week but while changing out some of our standing rigging we had a problem with a Sta-Lock. It seems that the pin hole was drilled incorrectly and the pin did not fit. 

We got both the rigging and Sta-Lock from Marine Services in Miami. Jeff immediately called our sales rep who said they would send another right away. Ten minutes later the owner called, oh- oh! He had several on his desk with the same problem. The owner then got  in contact with the US importer located near Wilmington, NC. The short of the long story is, after several calls, texts, and apologies we had a new piece with a new pin sent overnight, FedEx, so we could install it. 

So, for now we are taking advantage of some "forced relaxation" while waiting for better weather.
