Calypso arrived into Opua at 1.45pm today after a cracking sail last night and this morning. They cleared Customs and Immigration very quickly and were able to tie up on the dock near the car ferry terminal in the marina. The crew are all in fine form and very much looking forward to a long hot shower and dinner (and no doubt a few drinks) at the yacht club bar this evening before heading back to Calypso for a well deserved early night! Mike will check the weather again tomorrow morning, but at this stage the plan is to set off for Nelson on Sunday morning straight after the Rugby World Cup Final which is being televised live in NZ at 5am! Go the All Blacks!
