Back in BC
08/05/2012, Ganges, BC
I went to the south end of Salt Spring to help my buddy Demitri find the chain for his mooring today. It was a beautiful, if windless, day and we got the boat tied up to the chain. Demitri will go back with some hardware and finish it off. After dropping him at the dock I got back to the boat for the very last of the sunset.
Surfing

Here's a shot of surfing near our motel. No really, that's us surfing.
Newport day 2
06/26/2012
Newport Day 2. We went back to the bay for day two with Kak's captain Maiwenn and her boyfriend Grahame. There were no J22s available so we took a Rhodes 19 instead. Another great day on the water.
Newport Rhode Island
06/26/2012
Time for some more updates. I flew, slowly it seemed, to Rhode Island to visit Kak and to catch some of the America's Cup World Series regatta in Newport. Although they were only practicing it was still very impressive. We rented a J22 and sailed around the bay with them. We tried to stay out of the way but they are so fast we got close anyway.
Port Browning
06/02/2012
Port Browning is the an annual get together for the BC Multihull Society. AGM, BBQ, fun race, and a dinner all interspersed with lots of multihull talk. Here is a shot from the race.
Round Salt Spring/Port Browning
06/02/2012
This post should have been done two weeks ago but better late than never. I set out for Port Browning and sailed with the Round Salt Spring Island boats for a while.
