Parade through town
24 January 2009 | Bucerias, Mex
After the fleet arrived, the local cowboys and girls rode their horses in a parade through the town. This is a big deal for the locals and the city square is surrounded by sidewalk eateries, jewlery vendors and what have you. Many Candian tourists and snow birds winter here so they were a large part of the crowd along with our US cruisers gang. The girls wore pretty dresses and the boys were dressed up in the finest "vaquero" outfits. The sun was very hot and some of the outfits really looked uncomfortable.
