More Fleet Day
24 January 2009 | Town square, Bucerias
We walked around and "grazed" at the various street vendor eateries and had "hurachas?" which is dough shaped like a shoe on which are heaped all kinds of "goodies" which tasted wonderful. Here Craig and Kiki from s/v "Oya" are sampling some of the fare. Earlier, Craig tried to get me interested in trying some "Tacos de Cabesa". They are made with the meat taken from the cows lips. He swears they are great but I said "I'll pass". They eat funny stuff down here so one has to be vigilant as to what the spanish words mean.
