We moved over to Paradise Village Marina closer to Puerto Vallarta so we could be close to the airport to pick up our visiting daughter. We found ourselves tied up behind Vango which is the newest yacht that belongs to Carlos Slim. In April of '10, Mr. Slim passed Bill Gates as the Richest Man in the World. Just because we are slip mates doesn't mean we run in his crowd. He was not aboard, just his crew. Some of his crew were of hte female persuasion and were "mighty fine". Paradise Village is called Disneyland by the cruisers as it has lots of things like MacDonalds, Subway, Dominos etc. and lots of American touristas. They pay big bucks while the marina costs are not too bad and we get all the privileges of the resort thown in.
