We Had a great time in Fort Lauderdale .Watching the Cruise Ships depart it was awesome the Oases of the Sea the biggest ship and all 8 of them one by one. We left Lake Sylvia on Sunday morning on the ICW north rough seas and heavy wind kept us on the ICW for the rest of the trip home to Stuart.

We had great weather but no wind smooth seas coming into Port Everglade
and Anchored at Lake Sylvia for 3 Days to see the sights. Our main purpose was to see the Oases of the Sea leave port on Sat the 23rd on Jan 2010
We watched the whole parade of ships leaving at our spot on the beach.
We also went out to dinner for our 40th wedding anniversary. We have been there 6 times but just passing through to the Bahamas or the Keys. It was very interesting and we will do it in a water taxi next time.
