Love me Tender

24 September 2013 | off Sneads Ferry to off Wrightsville Beach
captsuz/beautiful north breeze and warm sun
Began the day with a beautiful sunrise! And the silver lining around clouds is actuslly a spectacular flouescent pink instead....well at least this morning it was.
Had a nice hot breakfast with tea and eggs with peppers and onions...mm mm mmm.
Hated to leave my little sweet anchorage spot. But we must be on our way!
Southbound ICW. I've been surprised that I haven't had more company heading south.

I collected a sea ox eye specimen yesterday and continue to eork on that sketch and today I collected anothet bright red specimen whose name escapes me, but I know it is related to a green variety that you can add to your salad.....

Today's task was the long haul and patience test waiting for the bridge tenders. They don't always hear you and if it was just little ol' me, then I was ignored. Frustrating. I had to pass through 4 bridges today: Onslow Beach, Topsail Beach, Figure 8 Island and Wrightsville Beach. Under sail from sun up to sun down.....long day!

We're looking forward to chillin' time tomorrow! As for now, we found another sweet marsh cove, made some hot tea and chicken noodle soup and olp....Kelly Belle is already zonked!

Tracked course and waypoints on paper charts and NOAA's beta digital charts. Pretty cool that your boat is on the chart and no WiFi. ....tee hee....guess how?

Great day TYL! Good Night!
