We're home!

We made it home today following a 2-hour squall delay.

Resting @ Lake Park Harbor Marina

We're treating ourselves (and our bodies) to a day of rest and doing a few chores. After doing a 56.4 nautical miles day, folled by a 47.9 nm day, then a 65.7 nm Atlantic crossing - we were ready for a day of rest. Not only that, but we thought we'd take a day to have our bodies get adjusted to this [...]

Great Sale to West End

Anchor up 7am and there's not much wind. We're leaving this deserted island with some poor, unlucky boater who was washed ashore on the North end. What do you suppose that's going to cost him????

Rush hour traffic

Another busy day in New Plymouth!

Paul

sunny
Another quiet morning as we wait for a weather window. Paul came by around 1:30 on a golf cart. They're teaming up with a 42 foot sailboat "Attitude" and they're going to go to Great Sale and then right to Cape Canaveral. This includes an overnight and doesn't have any kind of "Moyer" ring to it. We wish them the best of luck and look forward to hearing their report when they arrive safely stateside.

Paul gave us a ride into town and we told Sue bon voyage, also - as well as wished Mike and Mary a safe trip home.

Time to pick up a few things and walk back to our boat. On the way home, Adrian, our dock master, drove by, stopped and offered us a ride. Man, we're in the right neighborhood, aren't we?

Sleeping last night got cool enough we had to pull on a quilt. Wonder what tonight will bring.
