We figured out how to use the free shuttle and visited the Totem Heritage Museum. The staff explained that totem poles here were not gods, but for memorials and telling stories.

The museum also had some dance masks. They are preserving totem poles they are over 100 years old. Carving them is almost a lost art and carvers are few today.
