Suited up for transit

We left Shelter Bay about 1:00 for a 3:00 boarding of the Advisor on the Flats for the transit. We covered the solar panels with a mattress pad and chaise lounge cushions. We had 12 tires and 4 125 foot lines.

New Canvas and Dinghy on the deck
Marrilyn - Finally calm
03/20/2012, Shelter Bay Marina

We wanted to minimize the length of the entire boat for the transit. We deflated and put the dinghy on the deck. We were surprised how well it works. Also, note the new canvas. It really came out great -- we think (I guess we are prejudiced).

Dinner Time

Dinner in the cockpit is very pleasant. The table opens up and can seat 5 comfortably. The table has an extension for extra plates sor serving pieces on the end.

Dinner using newly mounted Grillle
Marilyn -- windy

We have several new items on the boat. One is a BBQ grille. Sam had custom brackets made for it while back in the states and we had a BBQ the other night. It works great. It will have to be removed to the transit so no one gets hurt, but that will not be too hard.
