We sailed with 74 other boats in the Caribbean 1500. This is the track of our route from Hampton to Tortola. It took us 9 days 12 hours and 14 minutes. We went 1384 miles.

In November 2009, Catharpin Blue sailed again on the Caribbean 1500. We sailed with a crew of 5 -- Sam, Marilyn, Stan Sowers (of Atlantic Cup fame), Joe and Bob Voyt

We left about noon. It started out very pleasant but soon got cold and very windy -- up to 40 knots. We stopped at Solomons's Island (in the dark) and then in Deltaville the secind day. In Deltaville we rigged the new spinnaker and we sailed (motored) to Hampton on November 1st at 2:00 AM.
