Island Cruising Association is again putting on an informal rally here at the Marina. There are seminars and get-togethers for cruisers getting ready to leave for the sailing season -- going to points north and west -- and surprisingly east.

A special treat this time was the first HAM exam in the Southern Hemisphere. We signed up as VECs -- volunteers. In addition, Soggypaws -- and American couple who have been sailing for about 8 years in the Pacific talked about their experiences in Fiji and Micronecia. A doctor came and wrote perscriptions, and there were talks on routes and weather.
