Winds died down the last day and we had to motor. We arrived at Sopers Hole, Tortola, BVI after 9 days and 13 hours. It is interesting to note that our time this time is almost the same as last time. This time we sailed almost all the way. Last time we motored most of the time. I guess this says we can motor as fast as we sail.
At the party we had a wonderful dinner. We came third in our class.

Catharpin Blue Sails to the Caribbean on the 1500 Again

In November 2009, Catharpin Blue sailed again on the Caribbean 1500. We sailed with a crew of 5 -- Sam, Marilyn, Stan Sowers (of Atlantic Cup fame), Joe and Bob Voyt.

Again we caught fish - this time it was two mahi mahi. Joe was the fisherman. We ate one and froze the other for great Island eating.
