Halloween: Very windy and crowded on the canals and creeks into Beaufort, NC. We get a slip on the waterfront boardwalk and cash in our free beer tokens at the Dock House Restaurant. Very nice day and evening with lots of folks walking by dressed in costume. A rock band plays deep into the night on the waterfront, but luckily a couple blocks up from our slip. Very crowded...they had docked "True Loev" blocking our boat in for lack of space...hope we can get out when we want! I guess the combination of Halloween, Saturday night, warm, almost full moon. We walk about the town full of witches, vampires and zombies. A group of kids play guitar and sing on a street corner. I annoy them by singing mostly the wrong words to "Creep" along with their wrong lyrics, and then spare them. We get some tapas at Aqua, then amble back for a quieter evening.
