Snow In Nuuk for July 4

Charlie
We're tucked in at the Nuuk inner harbor. ...and it's snowing. At 36 degrees, it's too warm to stay on the ground but it's been snowing for several hours. People say this is unique, even for Greenland, but I'm not convinced, myself.
Another boat attempting the NW Passage, S/V Alkahest, is rafted up to us. We're rafted to a sleek rescue/pilot boat, rafted to a small roll-on transport boat, rafted to a large wooden ex-whaler with a tall crow's nest.
It's about a mile walk to downtown Nuuk which is a well-developed town with all the amenities. The supermarkets are well-stocked although fresh fruits and vegetables are a bit scarce and expensive as everything is imported.
This evening is Ralf's birthday party so we are ready to celebrate.
