I was planning on warm, sunny weather in the Bahamas. On day two of a seven day course we awoke to NW winds 15 to 20 knots and showers. Ahh, a classic winter cold front in the Bahamas, "These things always blow thru in about 12 to 24 hours, no problem..." I proclaimed to my co-instructors and students. Four days later and only six miles of water under our hulls the winds finally began to clock around to the SE. The crew handled the weather... rough at first but we all came to realize that we make the best of what life has to offer and enjoy the people with whom we surround ourselves. The day after we gathered for our Thanksgiving meal followed by a beach fire, the weather broke. The final full day in the Bahamas we relished the warmth of a sunny day and spent our time paddling, snorkeling, and exploring. If anyone from our crew reads this I thank you for sharing your time and energy.
