Keep your motor runn'n

Due to restricted bridge openings to accommodate the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral we kept our motor running all day today. Plotting our route last night we concluded that making the NASA Causeway Bridge before 15:30 would require a 06:00 start and an average of better than 5knots. If we didn't make it then the bridge would not open for the next 3 hours. With the assistance of our trusty co-pilot pictured above we made the bridges with time to spare. The day's transit from Rocky Point to Mosquito Lagoon covered 57NM. A grim forecast for early next week will keep us pushing hard to make St. Augustine by Sunday. Co-pilot says, "Keep your motor running - tomorrow Daytona Beach, FL. Woof!"
