It seemed nature herself did not want us to reach Charleston. The rain and winds grew in intensity with each turn of the prop. After 8 hours of rotating watches in the rain and many cups of hot tea, we through in the towel - actually we through in the anchor and went below decks for a towel. We found a great anchorage approx. 8NM north of Isle of Palms in Caper's Creek. We are very happy to be on the inside and settled in a secure anchorage. The NOAA forecasts for the next 24 hours do not look favorable.
