A new aft cabin?

Anne appears pleased with the concept of our new aft cabin. I'm a bit skeptical about the ventilation.
To refinish the stern toe rail we needed to pull of all the fairleads and other hardware. Since we have pulled the propane locker, Anne was able to crawl inside the lazurette and assist with removing the bolts.
The silver pendant that extends through the transom is the linkage for our Cape Horn autopilot. The autopilot can be driven by a wind vane or the electric tiller pilot seen in the left of the image. Due to the power consumption we typically only use the electric tiller pilot when running the motor.
