Another beautiful sunset


Sailing, beautiful weather, quiet and peaceful for most of the day on our way to South Portland. We are on a mooring at the Centerboard Yacht Club just across from busy Portland. The launch will take us over and back, it’s the best of both worlds. Although we only planned to stay for two nights, we were pinned down for a third day by high winds and rough seas. We met Bill and MaiBritt Ellis on m/v “Chief”, moored next to us. They are from Long Beach, California (Bill had been the Police Chief there) and we spent two really nice days with them. As long as we were stuck, we used our time wisely and went to the movies to see “Jason Borne”. From Portland, we will move on to Portsmouth, NH and then Beverly, MA as we start to head slowly for home.
