Slept in past 7 but got up and stayed thru our last George Town net on VHF channel 72 8:00 am. Hauled anchor and headed out to the big waves and winds 10-15. Main was reefed and the jib was fulll, but our speed was not that good. The spinnaker was hoisted along with the reefed main and our speeds were over 8 knots at one point, but mainly over 6 knots which was great. Arrived at Rudder Cay Cut around 2:30, riding tremendous waves and decided to anchor on the opposite side than was recommended. Mark swam on the anchor and set it. Then we had lunch and a rest. Then headed to Rudder Cay to find the Mermaid and Piano which is in 10 feet of water. If a tour boat hadn't come by, I am not sure we would have found it. Anchored the dingy and snorkeled on the submerged sculptures. We did a long dinghy ride along Little Darby Cay which had a research station and several abandoned houses. Got back to the boat. Chris and Mark did some fishing, but no luck. Robert and Chris fished along the way today, and lost one lure, but no fish were caught. We have a beautiful and quiet anchorage tonight. We are thankful that we don't have dinghies zooming by our boat, as we had in George Town. Sun down was spectacular and almost unobstructed but no green flash was seen.
