Canadian Coldfront Hits Florida!

Up early and motoring north from Daytona. The wind was on the nose yet again, so no sailing today. Not too many boats on the ICW, which was nice. However, we got waked big time from many of them. The nice power boaters slow down when they pass. Had to call a few bridges, but they were on
demand, so no waiting. Great bridge tenders. By lunch time the winds picked up to over 20 knots. It was actually COLD. We saw a variety of natural vegetation to huge houses. Lots of new building over the past few years. In some places, they equalled Ft Lauderdale on size. We arrived at St
Augustine around 3 and are staying at the Municipal Marina. Mark and Robert toured the huge Spanish Galleon, while Chris and I shopped. We are all planning to do a Ghost Tour at 8 pm. If the weather holds, we will be heading to Jacksonville, tomorrow. It started raining around 5:30 and is expected
to rain more before this day is done. We could not believe the many trolleys full of tourists here in St Augustine. Lot of boats in the marina and on mooring balls on both sides of the famous Bridge of Lions. We also saw many dolphins in different places. With the high winds, we saw white caps in the ICW
channel, coming into St Augustine. Tomorrow is supposed to be a cold day.
