Hazy day - more like a summer Lake Ontario crossing!

We saw a number of Shrimp Boats out fishing just at sunset. Then we took turns at the helm thru the night. Mostly just on the lookout for other boats. We saw one light in the distance but we were too far away. We both managed to get some rest. Watched a beautiful moon rise and light up the boat for the rest of the night. We motor/sailed as there was little wind. At times, the wind was not in the right direction for our route so the jib was furled. Did not see very much wind. Our speed is very slow even with one engine at 2000 rpms. At one point this morning, it was hazy in all directions and the breeze felt cold. That lasted for much of the day. It reminded us of our summer sailing on Lake Ontario. We showered off the back steps and despite adding cold water to the sun shower, it was really hot. Sat out on the deck to dry off. Mark decided it was 5 o'clock somewhere at 3:30 today. Beer, chips and hummus fit in nicely with our day. Just saw a large ball go by and realized it was a huge turtle. The waves have calmed down. Mark took down the main sail as it was clanking back and forth with the choppy waves. The seas have calmed with only 3-4 knots wind and 3+ speed. The sun is shining brightly as it heads closer to sunset. Ran the water maker for a few hours. Our tank should be close to full. Also did some research on the upcoming marinas. Lots to choose from. We will probably sail for a few more days before we make a stop. Have fun at all the SuperBowl parties! We are looking for a long range radio channel to listen to the game. Can Brady win another one?
