Swimming

Kirk Mies
The entire family hung out on the boat yesterday. I got a lot of little jobs done that I wanted to do in preperation for our trip next week... checked out the engine, serviced the water system, holding tank, refinished some more of the teak. But by the time I had finished those projects, the kids were ready for something a little more exciting. There was absolutely no wind, and the lake was as smooth as glass, so we motored out and anchored off the beach. We all swam (including the dog) and had a great time. We then enjoyed dinner and some games as we swung on the hook. Took a little motor around the harbor then watched the full moon rise out of the lake. All things considered, it was a great summer evening.
