I got up early 6am to catch up on some MYOB, do the wages, bank recs etc as we hoped to be heading out as soon as we got our liferaft etc .

Chris uses the computer late at night and I early in the morning, works well as I am an "early bird" Chris is not.

Tony txt at 8.30 with the cost and said all ready to go. Great news as he had indicated it wouldn't be until after lunch.

We decided to go ashore in our dinghy as it would be easier to get the life raft back on board. Tony picked us up and we collected the fire extinguishers, then the life raft. The workshop was full of large inflated 25 man + rafts, couldn't see ours anywhere. Finally found ours deflated but not repacked. Tony took us to the office to complete all the paperwork and make payment.

Tony checked back with the service shed and broke the news that our raft wouldn't be ready until 4pm! So we wouldn't be leaving after all - that damn counting chickens before they hatch senario again! Tony seemed quite embarrassed and said they would deliver the raft to us on Charmar by 4pm.

We stopped at the fruit & vege market and the bakery to restock supplies on the way back to Charmar. Stowed the dinghy and prepared everything for departure.

it was 4.30 that we finally received the life raft!

The skies looked very stormy therefore we decided to leave at daylight the next morning.
