With the intention of crusing from the west to the east coast of Canada via the Panama Canal, I bought the Sailing Vessel Chetak. She's a wooden Ketch rig, cedar stripped planked on Oak frames and teak decks and brightwork. She needs alittle work and this is where this blog wil start. I'll be writing about the adventures of getting the boat ready to sail back to my home town of Lunenburg, NS from Brentwood Bay, BC.
