The river outside the resort was being used for kayaking by a group of transition year students and had a number of waterfalls and challenging rapids for them to have fun with. this scene is just past a bridge where its smooth sailing.

The view from our room at Delphi Mountain Resort. we watched as the storms blew by, bringing hail and rain and hurricane like winds. then the sun would come out. lots of rainbows. as usual the picture doesnt do justice the beauty, esp the colors. as the light in the sky changes the palette of colors on the landscape change as well. with the weather being stormy during our stay, we loved having a dry and warm place to enjoy the magic of this place

The resort cradled in a river valley between mountains on every side. our room is there in the upper middle. notice the metal roofs, the hurricane force winds made these sound like they were ripping off during the nights.

Leenane village at the back of the fjord is just around the corner from this waterfall, on the narrow winding road to the Delphi Mountain Resort
