Mike
11/06/2009, Connemara

The resort and the area are fabulous. it was hard to leave really. i think its my favorite place in ireland after where we live.

Connemara is a combination of mountains, bog, pasture, lakes, rivers and seacoast. Wild, remote country that is interspersed with quant small villages and lively people. In the same day, you could catch fish and shellfish from the sea, then trout from the lakes. kayak the river rapids or go surf the waves off the beach.
