Traveling from Hope Town to Little Harbour, we stopped for a snorkel adventure at Sandy Cay. Beautiful travel day and of course we found our way to Pete's Pub.

Departing Abacos and heading for Eleuthera Islands. Travel time is approximately 55 NM and 12 hour sailing day. Crossed Northwest Providence Channel in perfect weather.

Spanish Wells is famous for its fishing fleet. They supply over half of the Bahamas with commercial lobster, conch and fish. Today, Spanish Wells serves as a major lobster industry for the Bahamas. Dan and I took a fast ferry to Harbour Island, spent the day riding on a golf cart and touring the Island.

Located a Nassau Yacht Haven Marina and plan to leave Chinook here for thanksgiving week Spent time touring Nassau: Bay Street, Straw Market, Paradise Island and Casino...we sat next to Kevin Costner at Johnny Rockets. 11-17 through 11-24-07, Dan and I depart for Punta Cana, Dominica Republic for a family thanksgiving with the Fowlers.

Begin our sailing tour of the Exuma Islands, Bahamas. After an 11 day rest, Chinook is off to tour the Exumas. Depart Nassau and head to Allens Cay, home of the Iguanas. 28 NM to reach the Exumas. Thanks to our great friend Steen, we were able to listen to new music...Steen, wonderful music selections. Thanks!
