11/13/2009, 35 15.8'N:80 08.1'W, Passing Hilton Head
The wind has moderated and we are hugging the coast on our way home. It is actually a pretty nice ride with waves only 3-4 feet and wind just about 20 knots. Looks like we will be arriving in port Sunday November 15 - 4 days after our scheduled date. We will have to clear customs and hopefully that will be quick.

The weather got rough in the gulf stream with waves up to 20 feet so we headed in towards shore. We were making 13.5 knots in the gulf stream last night but now are only making 8 knots... Thermometer is reading 64 degrees with winds out of the NNW at 25.

We finally got TV back and what is on the Weather Channel.. Atlantic Assult and Perfect Storm. We are in pretty good weather with seas less than 5 feet and wind up around 20 still out of the south. That will change within the next couple days but I think we are going to miss the really bad stuff. Still planing on getting in on Saturday.
