Winter doldrums...

23 February 2013
This winter has been cold and crappy, but we've only seen a little snow and ice so I suppose I can't complain too much. My V-berth overfloweth, the (repaired) heat exchanger is still only partially installed, and the whole boat just needs to be opened up and emptied. Looking forward to spring!

I am waiting on pins and needles for the results of a job interview last week. Odds are good I'll be moving back down to Virginia in the next month or so. I'm planning a 6-day cruise back down the bay, will be my third trip :-) .

About:
I got a boat in the first place because cruising is a family thing. I have many, MANY good memories of sailing that involved my uncles, my grandparents, and the good people at VYC. My crew is my family, and anybody else who decides to come along. [...]
Extra: “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain
