Donald has always dreamed of having a sailboat, and finally his dream came true in 2006. We took a basic keel boat class, and I was hooked...suddenly I found myself sharing the dream. [...]We purchased a Hunter 36 in 2007, and when we saw the 41DS being prepped for the boat show the following spring, we knew that that was it. We had not even named the 36, so we did not have time to get attached. We went to Toronto in July 2007, accompanied by 'Alaina Jade'. The Welland Canal was challenging, but with professional help from linesmen, it was not as scary as anticipated.
