Greg had some friends in the fishing tournament this weekend so we decided to anchor off Isla Contadora where the weigh in and awards were going to take place. We anchored right off the beach where the fish were landed. By the late afternoon we were surrounded by many large sportfishers (Viking, Hatteras, Riviera, and even a beautiful Buddy Davis design - Ajuga). We took the dinghy to the beach to watch the weigh in. It was quite a spectacle. Any marlin caught was photographed and released but the tunas, dorados, wahoos, and others were kept. We met Greg's friends and had fun watching the event. Later we went to the award ceremony and ate fish.
