The Rainy Season

17 October 2007 | Playa del Coco, Costa Rica
Julie
They are not kidding. It has been raining on and off for the last couple months, but this week has been non-stop. Fortunately it started to rain right after Kim and Janelle left but it has not stopped for four days. Not only does that mean being pretty much stuck on the boat, but everything is wet and has no chance of drying. On the upside, our decks are sparkling clean and the boat is dry inside, so it's a nice excuse to watch a lot of movies and read a lot of books.

We have to stay here for another two weeks, until the end of hurricane season, before we can head north up to Nicaragua. Andrew took of this morning to do some inland exploration and Chris and I will hopefully head back out to the Murcielagos and perhaps up to Santa Elena if we can get a break in the weather. Then come November 1, it's northward bound.
