Chris
We are approaching the half-way point of our passage. We have had a pretty good run so far. We are almost 600 miles from Chagos after 3 days and we have had 2 consecutive 200+ mile days. The ride is a little bumpy but we are coping...not much fishing or gourmet meals to report.

We are approaching the Saya De Malha bank which is a large offshore shallow spot. We will sail through a deep water channel in the middle of the bank. If we are feeling up to it the fishing should be great.

We are looking forward to getting some weather data in the next couple of hours. There is a low according to the last report which has formed about 300 miles north west of us which we would like to keep an eye on.

We took on a lot of water last night when it got rough. I think it was coming in through the open anchor chain door which is now closed. Otherwise all else is well.
