At 10:30 pm local time we crossed over the Greenwich Meridian bringing us back into the western hemisphere. We last crossed the meridian on our way from Tonga to Fiji in August 2005 -- more than 18 months ago!

It is a beautiful night - calm seas, gentle breeze and a full moon. We toasted with some Tang and look forward to celebrating with friends in St. Helena. Our next major milestone will be crossing the Equator which we should do while working our way up the coast of Brazil next month.

For now we will enjoy the ride. We still have the spinnaker up and are doing 8 kts on course, so we cannot complain.
