Headed to Salvador

We have decided to go to Salvador, Brazil, as the wind angle is such that we can sail rhumb line with the spinnaker without having to gybe, as we would have to do to make Recife. We've had a lovely sail since leaving St. Helena - consistently good wind and fairly calm seas. We have covered 770 miles in the last four and are now about 1150 miles from Salvador. We're hoping to arrive by this Friday so we can check in and enjoy Carnival over the weekend.
We weren't able to buy much in the way of fresh provisions in St. Helena and we don't fish with the spinnaker up, so I've been getting creative with tofu and soya "mince." I'm pretty certain we will never want to see another soy product again after this trip. I have been baking quite a bit to keep myself busy, so we have been enjoying fresh bread and scones for breakfast.
We are listening to an audiobook called "Wild Fire" by Nelson Demille. It's a very entertaining and gripping book and makes the hours fly by!
