Dickenson Beach Bash
29 April 2007 | Antigua
Chris
Most of our crew at the Dickenson Beach Party which is a seriously fun party. The 1st race of the week finishes on the northwestern end of Antigua and all of the boats anchor off Dickenson Beach for the party that night. It is really nice to have the crews from the whole fleet in one place right on the beach with all of the boats anchored in eyesight. It was my favorite of the event parties.
The start the next day is also at Dickenson Beach which is a little bit of a logistics hassle because our crew house is over an hour away in Falmouth. Julie and I stayed on the boat but the rest of the crew went back to the house. No need to bring a dinghy, the locals provide a water taxi service.
