Road Trip
We have enjoyed a lovely Easter weekend. The Azaleas are in full bloom here and I just can't get enough of them. We are preparing for our road trip to the MTOA Rendezvous a six hour drive to St. Augustine. This is a gathering of trawlers and looks like quite the event held over 4 days. Al wants to attend seminars on engine maintenance and, well I'm in it for the socializing and a reason to wear a skirt. We have been assigned a mentor who will help to orientate us to the event. For people driving there will be hosted lunches aboard, there will be opportunities to visit other trawlers and meet other cruisers. We are looking forward to this part to glean ideas for or own upgrading and get advice. This will be Miss Bridget's first road trip and staying in pet allowed hotels. We have her booked into doggie daycare with "Critter Sitters". I'm feeling separation anxiety already. We will have the opportunity to finally meet our blog friends Pete & Pokey and the boyz (Red & Blackie)
