Life in Kingston

We are currently at the menagerie on Frontenac St. We checked out three apartments yesterday, two were a bust but the first one we both really like. We did the paper work and are expecting to hear this morning that we get it. Its on the 9th floor facing east, with a pretty good view of the city. The building to our pleasant surprise has a fitness room and an out door pool. There are some picnic tables and barbeque pits for use. It is close to the grocery store and some good restaurants. It's a bit of a hike to walk downtown, it can be done but I think Alistair won't walk that far. We will get new bikes and it will be a nice ride down to the Tues/Thurs/Sat. Farmers market. It is a pet friendly building and if the paper work is all in order we could possibly move in on Thursday. We need to look for a new bed and hope for a speedy delivery.

Its cold here and Bridget is not impressed and neither are we. But the sun has been shining. Its almost March 1st so we will at least be heading into spring so that's positive.
