Hard to believe we have been blogging 3+ years. Unfortunately we lost our Ruth portion when we moved to Close Knit. Al almost exclusively did the blog postings. At some point I wanted to learn and I started blogging. I veered from the cruising and slipped into a high fiber content. Some will remember the head butting Al and I had over the content. Knit happens and our followers were supportive of that. Our followers are again supportive of the non cruising content.

I guess it doesn't matter what blog provider you use but you develop connection with family, friends and beyond. At some point you just develop bonds and the content is secondary.

Al has clearly stolen my thunder and I don't mind a bit. He was happy to see the comments to his post. I wasn't there but Joan said he displayed more expression as he read the comments aloud than she has seen to date. He is keen to blog more and this is good news. Hopefully in the next week he will be ready to work on communication twice a day with Joan and Emily.

His new chair has arrived and we will have it home this weekend. His AFO arrived and it necessitated a trip for new shoes. His old shoes would not accommodate the brace comfortably. So after therapies today I took him downtown for new shoes and tomorrow he will be test driving his new shoes, brace and chair. In keeping with a cruising spirit the orthotist put on straps with a pirate motif. Quite cute.
