Typically FALL

It’s a gorgeous fall day here in Kingston. I have tried to capture the fall colours we see from our 9th floor balcony. If you look closely you can see some of the wind turbines that are on Wolfe Island. They have been a source of controversy since their installation over a year ago. I think they are kind of cool and add a neat dimension to the horizon.
We had our friends from mv/Mystic Bond last evening over for supper. We met Olga and Andre in an anchorage in SW Florida last season and they live just down the 401 in Gananoque. They are leaving this Wednesday to reunite with their boat in Port Charlotte, FL for the coming winter. Mystic Bond has been resting in the boat yard next to the boat yard where Close Knit is resting. They have kindly offered to check in on CK for us and we are very grateful for this. So we handed over keys for getting inside.
We feasted on Octoberfest sausages, warm German potato salad and coleslaw. Olga brought a fabulous lemon drop cheese cake. Although Al did not talk a lot he did enjoy socializing and I know he enjoyed the boat talk.
Today is a soup making type day and knitting. But the day is quite nice and I may convince Al to let me take him out for a walk later this afternoon if the rain holds off.
