Yarn DIET

Stash Busting

Mackenzie came down for two days and she helped me organize my stash. When we fled the boat last year I had a couple bins of wool all shrunk in space bags. When we opened the bags they exploded into sucking the space out of my guest room closet. Now the yarns are sorted, contained and labeled into Sock Yarn, Worsted, Feltable, Bulky and Fingering. I bet I have enough sock yarn for 70 pairs of socks. Based on the feltable yarn I’d say next Christmas may be a slipper Christmas.

Its official. I’M ON A YARN DIET.

In Al news he is still being weened off his intravenous Heparin onto warfarin (Coumadin), St. Marys has been by to assess him for possible readmission for a short stay to get him mobile. Today I’ll meet with a social worker I requested. I’m wearing down a bit and although I like to pride myself on being a strong and logical woman, sometimes you just need someone to help you be your voice.
